Where light meets narrative

Explore the world through the lens of RobbieCimages, where every photograph tells a story. Where I delve into atmosphere, light, and quiet narratives, inviting you to discover the subtle moments that reveal the essence of a place.

About robbiecimages

I am Robbie Clymo, a photographer based in Devon with a passion for capturing the details, textures and moments that tell a story.

My photography is predominantly black and white, where I find that removing colour allows light, texture, shape and atmosphere to take centre stage. I’m particularly drawn to history, heritage, people and the quieter details of everyday life — things we often pass without really noticing.

For me, photography is not simply about recording what is in front of the camera. It is about noticing, interpreting and sometimes asking the viewer to look again.

Through robbiecimages, I share my photography, ongoing projects and photo books, each reflecting the way I see the world.

Sometimes we look. Sometimes we see. There is a difference.

My photo books

I combine evocative photography with thoughtful poetry to create unique photo books for coffee tables. Our latest series, "A Glimpse of History," explores how people have interacted within spaces, leaving enduring evidence for generations to come.

Faith in Full Sight

A photographic exploration of abbeys and cathedrals that have endured centuries, standing as symbols of human vision and craftsmanship

Woven Through Time

The second instalment of my series, delving deeper into the traces left by human interaction within historical spaces.

Industral Heritage

The final book in the series, completing my visual and poetic journey through historical human imprints.

What a fantastic collection of evocative religious architecture. The black and white contrast really brings out the depth and beauty of carvings.                                              ★★★★★

Capturing enduring moments

My photography aims to evoke emotion and spark contemplation. From grand cathedrals to intimate details, we capture the subtle language of history and the enduring spirit of places, creating images that resonate long after you've seen them.
